More AGPLA surprises!

AKA "Part 2" of the previous post. ;)
Laura meant to post these pictures to my blog at the beginning of the week, but she's getting swamped with schoolwork. Not fun!

Anyway, look what I helped Sheila purchase! ;)

Several of the new items - the fiesta set, the newest Bitty Twin lemonade set, the safari dress, to name a few - scampered into her bag. It was so much fun going to AGPLA with the "goddess of AG shopping", hehe. It was also quite fun seeing new items for a change. I really love the new green/blue raincoat - c'est très chic!! I'll have to ask Laura to get it for me sometime.

Sheila asked me if I wanted the newest Purchase-with-Purchase, and of course, how could I turn down her sweet offer? Laura didn't really like this outfit at first, but it began to grow on her as she saw more pictures. Moi, je l'adore! The bubble skirt in dark pink is really cute, and the shirt looks very fashionable and trendy. Although I've packed it away with the rest of my belongings for now, I think the Le Tour Eiffel necklace Jillian gave me will look really nice with this outfit. Maybe add a cute beret, boots to replace the sandals, and a fitted jacket to complete the look? This outfit has so much mix'n'match potential!

After I'd finished thanking Sheila for my fabulous new outfit, I ventured into the music room and started practicing the clarinet. I was a little rusty because I hadn't touched one since the move from Paris, but I remembered how much fun it was. Maybe I'll have my parents ship mine over to school? I'm not even sure Laura knows I play an instrument!

My Saturday at AGPLA (and a surprise!)

Bonsoir, mes amis!

Hier, je suis allée à AGPLA avec Sheila!!!! (Ouais, je suis très, très heureuse!)

Yesterday, I went to AGPLA with Sheila. She wanted to see the new items that came out on the 11th, and she had a surprise for me as well.

So I dressed up in Nellie's Spring Party dress, adorned my french braids in AGP exclusive hair ornaments, and went off to AGPLA to...

...get my EARS PIERCED!!! Remember how I said that I chickened out of getting them done at the Mall of America? Well, the Valdez girls looked so great in their earrings that I quickly changed my mind. Initially, Laura had been so nervous about letting me get my ears pierced as she was sure I'd regret getting them done in the long-run, but I managed to convince her otherwise. I'm SO glad she gave in because I love my new star earrings! :D

Of course, I managed to convince Sheila to buy several items for her girls, too. She "said" she was only going to walk out with two items, but hehe, she was tempted by much more. ;)

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day! :-)

Love, Sophie

Oh, California!

Salut, tout le monde!

Sur le 3 février 2010 (mercredi ), je suis arrivée à la maison de ma nouvelle hôtesse dans Californie du Sud...

On February 3, 2010 (Wednesday), I arrived at my new hostess' house in Southern California - quite the temperature change from Minnesota, for sure!

My new host, Mrs. Sheila, gladly welcomed me inside and made me feel quite comfortable.

After I'd rested a bit, I tried on an outfit for her: the (Bitty Baby) Rosy Posy outfit - don't I look cute? I actually think it's better suited for us older girls rather than the little girls AG has designated it for. The sweater is so sweet (love the black and pink!), and don't even get me started on the beret! That thing is too adorable!

Then I changed into a pretty dress and joined a few other girls (a few of the many who live here!) in the living room for tea and cookies. Yum! Les biscuits et du thé sont délicieuses!

Comme une parfaite demoiselle (like a perfect young lady), I pleasantly conversed with my new acquaintances, telling them of my travels, my quintuplet friends, and life in France and Virginia.

I will keep you guys updated!

~Sophie
